Raphael Ricard, B.A.

Education and Experience

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Translation at Laval University in Québec,
Canada. Throughout those three years, I worked on a wide variety of texts, from
medical articles to cookbook recipes. I also studied several languages, such as
Spanish, German, and Russian.

I began teaching English as a second language in the winter of 2025. Since then, I have
taught in both high schools and elementary schools, working with classes of 25 to 30
students aged 7 to 18. I am proud to help students build confidence in using English in
their everyday lives.

Hobbies

Outside of school, I like to stay active and explore new things. I love hiking (last year I
climbed Mount Giewont in Zakopane), playing chess and board games, hockey, going
to the gym, and photography. As a naturally curious person, I enjoy learning new
languages.
