Regent College High School

Regent College Bilingual High School offers education for young people age 15-18.

We are a privately-owned institution funded partially by the State and partially from fees paid by parents.

Our students can choose one from the three modules that we offer: 

  • Medical – offered in a bilingual class with English and Polish as the languages of instruction and an extended curriculum in biology, chemistry and social studies with the elements of history and economics.
  • Legal – English, history, social studies, science and economics taught at extended level.
  • Engineering – English, mathematics, physics, history, social studies and economics taught at extended level.

In the medical module we offer:

  • increased number of English lessons, min. 5 lessons a week for  grade 1 and 6-7 hours weekly for higher grades. This includes conversation classes with native speakers and Cambridge Exams preparation,
  • students are introduced to medical English,
  • subjects in extended curriculum are taught in English,
  • we shape critical thinking skills, foster abilities to experiment, encourage healthy and ecological lifestyles,
  • from the second grade, there is a minimum of four hours of Chemistry and Biology each week,
  • students are prepared for the Polish Matura exams in compulsory subjects at extended level  and for CAE exam,
  • depending on students’ interests, we encourage participation in extra-curricular activities, arts and sports clubs.

In the legal module we offer:

  • a minimum of 5 English lessons a week, including conversation classes with native speakers and Cambridge Exams preparation,
  • additional opportunities to develop interests in literature, arts and culture and history,
  • journalism classes,
  • a minimum of 4 classes of history and social studies from the second grade onwards,
  • students are prepared for the Polish Matura examination in compulsory subjects at extended level and CAE exam,
  • depending on students’ interests, we encourage participation in extra-curricular activities, arts and sports clubs.

In the engineering module we offer:

  • a minimum of five classes of Maths a week,
  • a minimum of four classes of Physics a week,
  • a minimum of 5 English lessons a week, including conversation classes with native speakers and Cambridge Exams preparation,
  • participation in external lectures and science experiments,
  • students are prepared for the Polish Matura examination in compulsory subjects at extended level and CAE exam,
  • depending on students’ interests, we encourage participation in extra-curricular activities, arts and sports clubs.
We use Cambridge International Education materials for secondary schools (IGCSE and A-level) to teach subjects in English and/or bilingual programmes at high school level.
