Summary and plans
Naszej kilkuletniej, regentowskiej tradycji stało się zadość i w tym tygodniu uczniowie klas 5-8 i naszego liceum spotkali się, by wspólnie podsumować nasze osiągnięcia w pierwszym semestrze roku szkolnego. Były oklaski, gratulacje, dyplomy i nagrody dla tych z najwyższymi średnimi i największymi frekwencjami. Pracujcie dalej, zawsze pamiętając ostatecznie – jak mawiali starożytni – Non scholae sed vitae discimus! (Uczymy się nie dla szkoły, lecz dla życia.)
Przeanalizowaliśmy też, co czeka nas w najbliższym semestrze, a będzie się działo sporo – wyjazdy do Londynu i Berlina, egzaminy ósmoklasisty, matury (pierwszy raz w historii naszej szkoły), nocka w Regencie i zwiedzanie Mierzei Wiślanej nocą, kolejne etapy konkursów przedmiotowych, kartkówki, sprawdziany, odpytywanie – dużo pracy i dużo zabawy.
Powodzenia!
This week, following the example of previous years, P5-P8 and high school students met together to discuss the achievements of the first semester. Certificates and awards were handed in for the best academic results and the highest attendance rates. Words of praise and encouragement were spoken and statistics were discussed. Keep up the good work, Dear Students, and remember that, ultimately, as the Ancient Romans used to say, Non scholae, sed vitae discimus – we learn for our own benefit, not for the school…
We have also looked through what is in store this semester, and there is a lot – trips to London and Berlin, end of primary school and high school exams, Sleepover @ Regent and Mierzeja by Night, subject competitions, small and big tests – lots of work and lots of fun.
